I haven't been teaching for long but this is by far the worst group of kids I've ever come across. A more effective way of using my time would be banging my head against a wall.
Days like today make me question why I wanted to be a teacher.

I've spent the last 2 days SICK. It wasn't a normal cold for me, sore throat and very swollen glands, usually my sinus' go crazy and I end up at the doctor on antibiotics. I think I picked up some germs from the 7 and 8 years at school.
I spent today reading the latest Frankie magazine
Happy Anniversary to my parents who have been married for 27 years today!!!!!
I've spent the day in the classroom so I doubt this blog makes sense. I was told today that I'm a very beautiful teacher, oh what kids will say to go and play outside without a hat.

25 today. Mid Twenties. My facebook status says that I'm refusing to turn 25, I realise I have no control over this. I've legally been able to drink in pubs for 7 years, and so far this weekend I've had no alcohol. Better hurry to the pub and get my free birthday drink.
I keep watching this video over and over again. I can't believe this baby survived!! Trains and prams do not mix.
A Minjungbal (local aboriginal tribe) guide took us for a walk around the Fingal Head reserve and lighthouse. It was a fantastic morning, I learnt so much about Fingal head, about plants, the coloured sand (unfortunately 75% of if got mined about 50 years ago). It was such a beautiful area, the ocean was an amazing colour. I think I need to go back with my sketch book and spend a day admiring the view and drawing. I love Australia. A friend I met in America is coming to visit and I can't wait to take her there.
The picture below is amazing, I don't know how the fishermen got there (not connected to the land). Yes freak waves have been known to wash fishermen away.
If you live around south east QLD or Far North NSW check out the website. National parks run lots of activities during the school holidays. This walk cost $8 for 2 hours, well worth it!!!!
Follow my blog and leave a comment telling me what of mine you would like win.
And for an extra entry blog about my giveaway and let me know.
Simple as that!!!!!!

- I want to own my own business. I want to buy a factory/old building and turn it into a gallery, studio, coffee shop. A place where people want to come and be creative... and it must serve good coffee.
- Design, build and live in my own house - like something you see on Grand Designs or in a Dwell magazine.
- Travel to New Zealand
- Live and teach overseas or in a community in the Northern Territory.
- Refurbish my childhood set of drawers
- Stay in love and live a happy healthy life
- Learn to crochet.
- Set myself up as an artist, have more showings... get my art out there for people to see.
- Make more time for my friends and family - life is too precious.
- Go back to uni and study something fun
We went to the QPAC playhouse to see Bangarra an Aboriginal Dance/theatre production. It was one of the most amazing things I've ever seen. There were moments where I had goosebumps, times were I was shocked and an overall feeling of omg these people are talented. I recommend that everyone needs to see it!!!!

I also had a quick look in the Brisbane gallery of modern art. Theres an area in the gallery called the water hall (well so I think). See the photo below (taken from their facebook page (picture is of Dave Graney a true Aussie rocker) around the platfrom is water. There's a few platfroms in the water with large sculpture pieces on them. Anyway ever since my first visit I've always wondered if anyone has ever fallen in! Well on Saturday I saw someone fall in. It was an older lady and I felt so sorry for her.
From these roots, we create theatre that is artistically innovative, technically outstanding and truly exciting to audiences throughout Australia and the world.
I started drawing ideas when I was waiting in Sydney last year for my American Visa to be processed. It wasn't until 6 months later that I started putting the ideas I had in Sydney onto paper. Th first drawing was finished.
Dallas, the place where I lived AKA concrete jungle!!! Glad for the experience and starting to really miss the place.
Who knows we may be back some day for a holiday
